Snoring problems? Learn the didgeridoo

When asked to come up with an example of a crossover between science and culture I came up with the didgeridoo. I was thinking along the lines of sound waves traveling through a tube and standing waves/fundamental frequencies. Then browsing through Wikipedia I came across this gem from the British Medical Journal in 2006.

"Didgeridoo playing as alternative treatment for obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome: randomised controlled trial."
Don't worry I double checked the reference and the full paper is online here so you can check it to:

Basically learning to play the didgeridoo can help stop snoring! How cool is that! It's not so much the actual didgeridoo but rather the circular breathing technique that helps reduce snoring. The authors suggest that learning circular breathing strengthens the upper airways and reduces snoring.

As far as alternative treatments go I whole-heartedly support this one, at least you get a semi-valuable/amusing skill out of the treatment, if not a solution to your problem.
